Packaging Design: Coca-Cola Classic
I think Coke has been doing some interesting things lately, especially the recent Coke Bubbles ads by the motion graphic house Brand New School. This current design done in conjunction with Beijing Olympics is not that bad. However, I still yearn for the early days of my youth in Thailand drinking Coke from those glass bottles.

James - I saw your thoughts on our Olympic bottles and wanted to comment. I'm the archivist for The Coca-Cola Company and started my own blog this year. I've actually talked about our new Olympic packaging -- for the U.S. and what's being introduced overseas. In particular, a new line of what are called WE8 bottles connect art from the East with music from the West. As an artist you might be interested in those. And you are not alone in liking Coke straight from the old bottles.
