I wish I were a Warhol silk screen
Hanging on the wall
Or little Joe or maybe Lou
I'd love to be them all
All New York city's broken hearts
And secrets would be mine
I'd put you on a movie reel
And that would be just fine

When I was on Governor's Island during my New York trip the city turned the entire island into Punk Island. They had several punk bands come onto the place and do free performances all over. It was nice to see. I was able to capture a couple bands while I was on my way out.

Both Finishing School and I will each have a piece in this show. It is just a fun show. Bunnies and guns. And we are happy to be in it. Particularly to show support for Susie and Juan.
I was out there today all day helping them out with the installation. With a total of around 120 works and 80 artists, I am sure you will find something you like there. The opening is tomorrow night 6-10 p.m. But truthfully I have been told that it will probably run up until four in the morning.
They will have a live performance, as well as barbeque on site. All courtesy of Santa Ana staple Grace and Morey. I was not around in the scene back then, but from what I hear, they do some mean cooking.
So if you are curious about what it is all about, head out to Pomona tomorrow night for their Second Saturday Art Walk and check out the show.
